CS4 is designed for professional users obviously but the improvments would make no difference to a photographer who is working with straight artwork or photographs... So CS3 would be cheaper now and if you have it there is no need to purchase new one... Adobe will alway keep improving but to be honest that is also to keep getting more money from you hahaha D XX

My CS3 pays for its self as I do work on the net for book jackets and also some pulled photographic work for keen amateurs who cannot be bothered to spend the hundreds of hours learning CS3 inside out hahhaha
